About More Cowbell
More Cowbell plays rock and pop hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today on acoustic guitar,
harmonica, keyboard, and, occasionally, the cowbell.
(For a partial set list, click here) More
Cowbell has played at many venues around Chicago, including Wabash Tap, The Union,
Weeds, Tonic Room, Sam McGuire's, and The Ivy on Clark, and has played at many private
parties and events.  More Cowbell was formed by lead singer Todd Murphy, who has played
at venues around Michigan and Illinois, including Goose Island, Stonecutters, Bar Louie,
Sam McGuire's, and Big Horse as a solo act and with bands The Voodoo Pugs, Seven Day
Run, and Murphy's Law.

More Cowbell is available to play at bars, clubs, parties, and events.  For more information
or to book More Cowbell, send an email to
info@ineedmorecowbell.net.

More Cowbell consists of Todd Murphy (Vocals, Guitar, Cowbell), Tim O'Hara (Guitar,
Keyboard, Cowbell, Back-up Vocals), and Brian "Bart" Devilling (Harmonica, Guitar, Cowbell,
Back-up Vocals).

Contrary to the name of the group, More Cowbell does not play cowbell in every song -- its
just that the group's members all like Will Ferrell.  Alternate names for the band were
"Frank the Tank," "Robert Goulet," and "I Drive a Dodge Stratus," but they settled on More
Cowbell.  You can still hear the cowbell in a number of songs, though, mostly because
some songs need percussion and no one in the group knows a drummer or owns a drum
set.
