Special thanks to More Cowbell
photographers!

Special thanks to everyone who has taken
pictures at shows -- especially to MC
photographers Brian Carey and Keith Adams.
They go above and beyond the call of duty at
every show and make the best part of this
website possible.  (Got a picture from one of our
shows?
Email it to us by clicking here)

At a recent More Cowbell show, the Duracell 9V
batteries in the official More Cowbell camera
lacked sufficient power to enable Adams and
Carey to operate the flash.  Lesser
photographers would have given up all hope
and returned the camera to the stage, having
taken no pictures.  Indeed, More Cowbell
keyboard player Tim O'Hara, upon learning of
the dead batteries, lamented, "This show is now
a total failure.  There will be no pictures for the
world to see.  It is as if we never played a single
note tonight."

Adams and Carey, however, snatched victory
from the jaws of defeat.  As More Cowbell played
on, Adams and Carey sprinted out the front door
of The Ivy and ran down Clark St. as fast as
their legs would carry them.  Running south on
Clark, they spied the Clarkport Pantry in the
distance and were determined to find some
replacement batteries there.

Once inside, they flashed their official MC
Photographer badges and cut in line in front of
an elderly couple, a man in a wheelchair, and a
midget.  They ordered Clarkport Pantry
Manager Raghib Smith to get them some 9V
batteries immediately.  Fortunately, Smith had
one two-pack of nine-volts left.  Adams and
Carey purchased the batteries, sprinted back to
the show, and had the camera operational in a
matter of minutes.

The show was saved and nearly twenty pictures
now appear on the website as a result.  Indeed,
only one word can describe Carey and Adams'
actions: determination, perseverence, heroism,
chutzpah, diligence, doggedness, drive, grit,
guts, moxie, persistence, pertinacity, pluck,
purposefulness, resolution, sedulity, spunk,
stamina, steadfastness, stick-to-itiveness, and
tenacity.
